Roosevelt coach Manny Flores said the words “earn everything” on the team’s warmup shirts are a message to teach his players life lessons beyond the hardwood.
The Rough Riders had to earn their 61-54 bidistrict playoff victory over Brandeis, surviving the Broncos’ 3-point clinic on Tuesday at Littleton Gym.
They’ll face Steele in the second round Friday.
