Shannon Coston and Allyson McBroom drove in runs in the third and sixth innings and Strong did the rest, allowing only an unearned run in the bottom of the sixth when Ashley Balestreri scored on a passed ball.

Sam Whitworth fired a five-hitter and Brianna Perez had two hits and two RBIs to lead top-seeded Alhambra-Martinez (23-2) to a 5-1 Division 2 semifinal win over fourth-seeded Carondelet-Concord (15-9).

    Alexis Scalzo threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts as second-seeded Bishop O’Dowd-Oakland (21-4) defeated third-seeded Analy-Sebastopol 4-0 in Division 3 semifinal play.

Daniel Kim drove in four runs with a single and a double, leading top-seeded Acalanes-Lafayette (25-2) to a 6-2 Division 3 semifinal win over visiting and 12th-seeded Miramonte-Orinda (16-11).
