Top 25 high school football: Baker’s dozen stand pat

    Top 25 high school football:

There was no movement within the top 13 teams in The Chronicle’s top 25 high school football rankings even though two of those teams lost last week.

Antioch stayed at No. 9 after holding its own at No. 1 De La Salle-Concord in a 28-21 loss.

On three occasions, the Panthers fell two touchdowns behind the perennial national power only to respond with a touchdown of their own.

California-San Ramon remained at No. 11 after losing 27-24 to No. 3 Monte Vista-Danville, which scored 10 points in the game’s final three minutes.

Overall, seven teams from last week’s rankings lost and three of them dropped out of the top 25:

Replacing those teams this week are No. 23 Foothill-Pleasanton, No. 24 Heritage-Brentwood and No. 25 Liberty-Brentwood.

Teams on the bubble this week are:

    Kennedy-Fremont (4-0), Kennedy-Richmond (5-0), Menlo-Atherton (2-2), Moreau Catholic-Hayward (4-1) and St. Ignatius (2-2).
