All three Central Coast Section Open Division playoff champions crowned Friday will advance to the CIF regional playoffs.

Two of the losers from those games also will advance, though which two won’t be determined immediately.

The Oakland Section champion in Friday’s Silver Bowl also will advance.

North Coast Section playoffs are all semifinal games.

McClymonds, a 58-24 winner over Castlemont on Oct. 28, is after its seventh straight Oakland Section title.

Led by QB Jack Newman (4,014 passing yards, 50 passing TDs, 2 interceptions), Analy is averaging 54.6 points per game.

Marin Catholic has allowed an average of 3.1 points over its past eight games.

Newman dual-threat QB Jordon Brookshire is a possible Metro Player of the Year.

Serra, winner of eight straight, beat Mitty 41-14 on Oct. 22.

No. 1 Berean Christian-Walnut Creek (8-3) at Clayton Valley-Concord, 7 p.m. Friday: WR Isaiah Hodgins, a recent Oregon State commit, leads Berean Christian.

Valley Christian beat Palma 35-14 for the 2005 Open title.

Sanctions against St. Bernard’s for recruiting violations cost it a home game.
