Northern California’s biggest basketball showcase of the summer takes place Sunday at Contra Costa College in San Pablo.
The eighth annual 2017 NorCal Clash begins at 3 p.m. and pits the top Northern California players from the classes of 2018 and 2019 against each other.
On the Class of 2018 roster are Chronicle All-Metro selections James Akinjo (Salesian-Richmond), Elijah Hardy (Bishop O’Dowd-Oakland), Logan Johnson (St. Francis) and Jake Wojcik (Bellarmine).
Expected to be among the 2019 players are O’Dowd teammates William Chavarin and Raymond Hawkins, Jay Allen-Tovar (Valley Christian) and twins Jaden and Jovon McClanahan (Salesian).
