    The Chronicle’s high school football rankings

    All 25 ranked teams remained so following a 21-4 week. All four losses came against other ranked squads.

    The biggest jump was previous No. 8 Valley Christian which jumped to No. 4 following a 28-21 home win over previous No. 2 St. Francis.

    Of the 25 teams, 10 remain with unblemished records. Many of the undefeated have yet to be tested. Milpitas (5-0), McClymonds (5-0), Half Moon Bay (5-0), Miramonte (5-0), St. Patrick-St. Vincent (4-0) and Acalanes (5-0) have yet to defeat a top-25 team.

    Five other teams on the bubble: Aragon (4-0), Encinal (4-0), Heritage (5-0), Sacred Heart Cathedral (4-0) and Terra Nova (4-1).
