Valley Christian graduate Collin Johnson could have picked almost any college in the country, but the sophomore wide receiver decided to follow his father to the University of Texas. Johnnie Johnson was a two-time All-America defensive back at Texas who played 10 seasons in the NFL, spending all but three of his 124 career games with the Rams in the 1980s. “Hopefully, I can follow in his footsteps and at the same time, not be in his shadow, just be my own person.,” Collin told Texassports.com.
