Fourth-ranked Valley Christian — set up for a trap game on Saturday — used five touchdown plays of at least 41 yards to produce a 34-10 West Catholic Athletic League win at St. Ignatius. Juan Turner threw three long touchdown passes, the first a 41-yarder to Skylar Loving-Black to take a 7-0 lead with 7:56 left in the first. A fumble deep in Valley Christian territory led to a short St. Ignatius field goal, before Turner connected on a 51-yard touchdown pass to Alton Julian, making it 13-3 with 3:26 left in the half. Charlie Bostic, who came in averaging 14.
