Aidan Quinn and the Heritage-Brentwood football team weren’t interested in creating any drama this time around.
One year ago, the Patriots needed to rally from a 32-point deficit to win their North Coast Section Division 1 playoff opener. On Friday night, against defending Division 1 champion Monte Vista-Danville, they essentially put things to bed before halftime.
Quinn scored two of his three touchdowns as part of a 21-point second quarter that broke open the game and allowed Heritage to coast to a 38-17 win over the visiting Mustangs.
