The Irish (6-4), coming off a 35-25 win over Mitty on Friday, are seeded fourth in the wide-open Central Coast Section Division III Open Division, it was announced Sunday.
SHC begins with a home game at Kezar Stadium 7 p.m. Friday against Live Oak-San Jose (6-4). The winner will play the winner of No. 8 Burlingame (6-4) at No. 1 Half Moon Bay (10-0).
Four teams — the champions and an at-large team — from the section’s three open divisions advance to the state tournament.
