It took three huge plays near the end of the first half for host Liberty-Brentwood to take a lead it later turned into a historic win as the top-seeded Lions beat fourth-seeded San Leandro 34-12 in a North Coast Section Division 1 semifinal on Friday night to clinch the program’s first trip to a section final.
