Clayton Valley boys basketball coach Eric Bamberger was not a fan of waiting.
After senior point guard Garrett Pascoe picked up his second foul for the eighth-ranked Concord school late in the first quarter against visiting Las Lomas-Walnut Creek on Friday night, Bamberger sat him down — for the rest of the half.
“My assistant (who does most of the subbing), I think I went to him 100 times that (second) quarter,” Bamberger said.
