The11th-ranked Spartans played their tightest one of the season Friday night, posting a wild 86-82 triple-overtime win over visiting Amador Valley-Pleasanton to clinch the East Bay Athletic League’s North Division title.
On senior night, senior Justin Pratt scored 32 points, including two on free throws with 4.3 seconds left to finally seal the back-and-forth affair.
De La Salle (19-6, 10-2) won its 10th game by eight points or fewer. But the Spartans have also lost five by eight points or less.
