Junior running back Isaiah Newell gashed through some gaping holes on his way to 223 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-13 nonleague win over visiting Miramonte.
Newell had 132 yards after one quarter, scoring on runs of 20 and 22 yards to give Las Lomas a 14-0 lead. His third score of the night came on a 1-yard dive that gave the Knights (3-0) a 27-0 advantage with 3:01 left in the third quarter.
