The Lincoln Mustangs put together their most impressive outing of the season Friday night at Kezar Stadium, overwhelming Mission 53-0 to win the San Francisco Section football championship.
The Mustangs (12-0) were dominant in every phase. Quarterback Jovon Baker rushed four times for 118 yards and a touchdown, and completed three of his four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Running back Desean Crawford carried the ball 12 times for 54 yards and four touchdowns. Receiver Jalen Williams had a 79-yard touchdown run. The team had 300 yards rushing.
On defense, it was more good news for Lincoln, which held the Bears (7-5) to 81 yards of total offense and forced a staggering 13 fumbles, four of which the Mustangs recovered.
