For the second straight game, the West Alameda County Conference Foothill Division showdown between Top 10-ranked teams came down to a last-second shot Friday.

Junior Maile took an inbounds pass underneath his own basket with 5.6 seconds left, drove the length of the court and scooped in a layup just before the horn, lifting ninth-ranked San Leandro to a 54-52 home win over No. 5 Bishop O’Dowd-Oakland.
On Jan. 9, O’Dowd’s Iniko McNeil made a driving layup with five seconds left to beat San Leandro 52-50.
On Friday, McNeil came to the rescue again and looked like he could get the Dragons (13-7, 5-1) to overtime.
