CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — It was a rather uneventful day inside Fish Field House for New Canaan native Zach Allen.
The former Boston College defensive end had performed well enough at the NFL scouting combine that he passed on the running and ability drills at the Boston College pro day on Wednesday. Allen did take part in defensive line position drills and showed enough that scouts from multiple NFL teams chatted with him following his day’s work.
“I knew what I signed up for,” Allen said. “It went well and it was fun especially with all my teammates all over the place training so it was like another day of practice.
