Rookie Montero gets Tigers' 1st shutout since '21

Rookie pitcher Keider Montero, making just his 14th major league start, tossed Detroit's first shutout in three seasons, and the Tigers -- clinging to contention in the American League wild card race -- defeated the Colorado Rockies 11-0 on Tuesday night.
