I'll pick Cedar Hill to win going away. Should be close after 3 quarters.Comment

For the record, I was the one who voted the Bishop big. I saw CH's games last year and they just didn't look as good on the LOS as BG.👍 1Comment

Gorman pulling away was exactly the opposite of what I expected.
Don't count CH out later on.
Slow starts have not stopped the Longhorns before.
Bishop Gorman looked really good.
I figured their offense would be tough, but was surprised how the "D" held Cedar Hill.👍 1Comment

That was an @$$ beating, basically along the lines that I did not expect. CH got some home cooking on their first TD with the bogus touched ball on the punt return. Zero players or officials reacted to the ball being touched for several seconds. Everyone was standing still(kudos to the CH player), but the replays show it was a crap call. The biggest issue I have is that it wasn't like you saw one official claiming to have seen it. No one did. Then they go to break and there you go CH ball.
I will admit all I saw was what they showed on TV, so there is a chance that I could be wrong. Don't think so here.Comment

No disrespect to Chill but they just got it handed to them. Based on our play against them for the past few years, we have seen two different teams come out to play during the course of the same game. They were either on point or just got laxed. I was hoping the latter and that in the second half, they would wake up and pour it on. However getting pounded in the trenches was disrupting their game, especially the offense. Rarely a scramble at all, especially to the outside. Why? BG was creating a mess up front.Comment

Agreed, and I can live(easy to say now) with refs making mistakes. Had a ref immediately demonstrated that CHill had the ball and the replays were the same, I'd say it was close and they saw it wrong. What bugs me is when it seems like the coach influenced the call as in this case.Comment
