    Purdy's 'arm was on fire,' says UCL appears fine

    After taking a sack in Monday's game, 49ers QB Brock Purdy said his right arm felt like it was "on fire." According to coach Kyle Shanahan, the initial indication is a nerve issue unrelated to the ulnar collateral ligament Purdy tore in January 2023.
