Anyone have a clue? I know Comal ISD is really spread out and has to be one of the largest ISD's in the state. I can see some West Texas ISD's being large as well.

Quick google search took me to the marfa ISD webpage and they make a claim of being the 2nd largest at 3200 square miles. My guess is the largest is going to be west of 35Comment

Interesting Notes:
Calhoun County ISD has the most square miles by water with 525.8
The largest ISD is Cullberson County-Allamoore with 4,861.2 sq. miles
The smallest ISD is Boys Ranch ISD totaling 0.5 sq. miles.
No idea what a common school district is but there's some districts in there with that title.
The Largest ISD not in West Texas is United ISD which is Laredo it has 2,503.7 sq. miles.Comment

If you are speaking of the district that is Ector county it contains 902 sq miles. and those students are split equally, more or less, but not really between Permian and OHS.Last edited by mojotrain; 07-29-2015, 01:31 PM.Comment
